Hiking
Stefan Karadscha was a member of the First Bulgarian Legion in Belgrade in 1862. In 1864 and 1866 he was the leader of free troops in the Balkan Mountains. In Romania he set up a free group with Hadschi Dimitar. In July 1868 he moved to Bulgaria with this unit. He suffered a serious wound during a battle with Ottoman troops. He was captured and then executed.
