These are characterized by the types of field thyme, mountain jasione, field hornwort, heather carnation, hawkweed, pitch rose and healing ziest.
In a 4 x 4 m area, 57 vascular plant species could be identified.
The maintenance measures carried out here aim to preserve these small biotopes. The maintenance of the open land areas between Mittelndorf and Lichtenhain is carried out by the Landschaftspflegeverband Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge e.V.
