The volunteer fire brigade was founded in Guben in 1864. The fire-fighting police, fire station and medical station moved to this location in 1930, Dreikreuzstrasse 10a. At that time it is said to have been one of the most modern in Germany. Dreikreuzstrasse 10a. After 1945 it became a Polish fire station.

It has the 3 coats of arms of Bohemia, Saxony and Prussia, the countries under which Guben was subordinate. The Gubin city coat of arms only has the Polish eagle on one coat of arms in the middle. Nice that Poland has not changed the historical past on the coat of arms.
