A beautiful vegetable garden full of herbs and flowers. Despite the noise from the nearby busy road, it is a pleasant place for the eyes and nose. I was there in early fall and there were still plenty of butterflies and dragonflies. This vegetable garden has a snake wall on two sides. There are only 8 of these walls left in the Netherlands. Of which no fewer than two are on Beeckenstijn. The winding shape retains the sun's heat and ensures that espalier fruits such as peaches, apricots and other exotic fruits can grow here.
