Very large area. Due to the tight financial situation of Greece not very well maintained, but worth seeing.

Note: closed on Tuesdays. The remaining days you can look at the old stones. More interesting, however, is the Asclepieion.

The Gymnasion (Palästra), an ancient exercise facility, dates from the Hellenistic period. It consisted of an elongated portico that runs in a north-south direction.
The track was then called Xysto Dromos (scrap road) because all athletes rubbed their bodies with oil before they competed. After the competitions, they scraped the oil, sand and sweat from their bodies with a special metallic object.
Of the original 81 Doric columns, 17 were rebuilt. The roof was supported on one side by the pillars and on the other side by a wall.
