Bosingak is a large bell pavilion on Jongno Road. The bell gives the street its name, Jongno means "bell street". It was originally built in 1396, but destroyed many times by war and fire.

On December 31, the "Ball Drop Ceremony" will take place here. With 33 bells, the new year is heralded here in Korea.

    Bell Ringing Ceremony:
    - Period: All year round (not available on Mondays)
    - Time: 11: 30-12: 20 (Bell-ringing from 11: 40 / once a day)
