Wikipedia: The Waldenbuch telecommunications tower is a 127.55 m high telecommunications tower of Deutsche Telekom AG in Schönbuch in the Baden-Württemberg district of Esslingen (Germany).
In the years 1998 to 2006, the Eurosignal transmitter and all large directional radio links as well as the cable headend and the television converter were shut down. Since then, the tower has only been used for mobile and BOS radio.
The Waldenbuch telecommunications tower serves as a mandatory reporting point for air traffic according to visual flight rules for Stuttgart Airport.
