Coming from the north-west, this part of the old monastery path leads down to the Schwarzbachtal as a single trail. However, the upper half has suffered quite a lot in the last two years due to the extensive tree felling work. In places the path can no longer be seen and you always have to be careful not to lose sight of the path marker "U".

However, the lower section is still intact and here the trail is as fun as the entire section used to be. You can easily pick up speed and "surf" down into the valley. One can only hope that the damage in the upper area will be repaired quickly.
