02.07.2016 - The Ternitzer Hütte, also known as Grassinger Hütte, is a refuge in the Schneeberg massif in southern Lower Austria. It was built in 1922, is located at 1199 m above sea level. A. on the stallion in the municipality of Puchberg am Schneeberg and is operated by the Friends of Nature Austria, Ortsgruppe Ternitz. The hut can be reached via hiking trails as well as with the Schneebergbahn, which is about 35 minutes down the valley from the station Baumgarten  or uphill from the station Hengstütte.
