A good campsite on the south coast. Great Views to the island and Ailsa Craig in the distance beyond. The campsite is quieter in low season and you can just show up. The beach is easily accesible and walking east takes you towards the nearby castle which can be spotted from the shore.
Next door the pub does good food if your campsite cooking enthusiasm has worn off!
