The Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, a building dating from the fourteenth century, has the main facade on the Rio di San Luca, we are in the San Marco district near Campo Manin, but its fame derives from the famous staircase located at the back of the Palace.

The staircase, built in the late 15th century, is known for its unique design and its stunning panoramic view of Venice from the top. The structure is 28 metres high and is made up of 80 steps that rotate counter-clockwise.
