Sarca Valley Cycle Path

Beautiful track without too many difficulties, even for those who are not used to cycling.

At Linfano, near Torbole, the cycle path starts right at the mouth of the Sarca River into Lake Garda. The cycle path follows the course of the river and continues gently to Arco. Then it always goes north. The route passes through the villages of Ceniga and Dro, then through fields between wineries and olive groves. Under the watchful eye of Castle Drena in the east, the paved road now approaches close to the rocky desert Marocche di Dro, which was created by glacial glacial movements. Only a short time the path gives an insight into this nature reserve, then it goes on through a cool forest.
The trees clear and the area turns out to be the seat of the vineyards of Pietramurata. After crossing the town center the journey leads to Sarche. From here we continue west through a narrow gorge to Ponte Arche. On a little busy road on Premone / Stenica then before Preore on the Rendanatal cycle path about 25 km to Carisolo to drive.
