Hiking
Niklaus built the house himself, as assumed, around 1450. He lived there with his family until he became a hermit. After he left, Dorothee and his children continued to live in this house.
The house was changed several times over the centuries, but was restored to its original state in 1944/45 in preparation for his canonization in 1947.
