Location: Lower Saxony, Germany
110.7 meters above sea level NN and thus Braunschweig's highest point. A summit cross has adorned the mountain since July 2021. The panorama includes the Salzgitter steelworks, Braunschweig's towers and Elm and Asse. A newly renovated bank invites you to take a break.

You also have a view of the Ösel, the Harz Mountains with the towering Brocken, the Salzgitter Mountains, the Bodenstedter Berg and Lindenberg. Braunschweig is hiding behind the Steinberg.
Historically, it is inglorious that there was an anti-aircraft gun position there in WWII to protect Braunschweig.
