Former shooting range of Defense Terschelling, tidal and wind can expose ammunition. The former training ground is located in the Noordsvader nature reserve on the west side of Terschelling, and is a beautiful walking area.
There are signs warning about the ammunition.
Noordsvader was used as a military training area until 1995. The exercises were then moved to the Vliehors on Vlieland.
