The former Bardenberger water mill in Würselen is located in the middle of the green Wurmtal and its rural idyll. It is not known exactly when the original two mills were built in the Jülich county. What is certain, however, is that between 867 and 1900 flour mills and oil presses processed the income of the farmers from the Vogtei Wilhelmstein. A mill race derived from the Wurm ran parallel to today's path.
