Hiking

The parking lot at the Buchenparkhalle in Hinterhermsdorf near Sebnitz is located at the end of the Kirnitzsch Valley, but not directly in the town of Sebnitz, but south of Hinterhermsdorf. It is a starting point for hikes to the Upper Lock and the Kirnitzsch Gorge. The parking lot is subject to a fee (day ticket €5 as of October 2025) and can be reached by car via the Kirnitzsch Valley or via two road connections from Sebnitz to Hinterhermsdorf. Free restrooms are also available here.
