The tea drinker monument in the tea town of Leer in the immediate vicinity of the old Bünting office from 1806 is a popular sculpture and stands prominently on the corner of Brunnenstrasse and Mühlenstrasse, i.e. between the old town and the pedestrian zone, and was designed by the artist Karl-Ludwik Böke, who died in the mid-1990s created.
