The old natural monument stood here until the end of April 2018. The sessile oak was visible from afar and was at least 250 years old. However, there were also precedents here, one of which was already in use as a boundary tree in 766.

The oak is no more. It was definitely a splendid tree. The view is definitely great when it's not raining. Nevertheless, it is very beautiful up here and the parking lot here is a great starting point for long and short hikes.
