The Pont Románic de Caldes is a work of Caldes de Montbui (Barcelona) protected as a cultural asset of local interest.
The bridge consists of two semicircular arches of different widths, supported by a central pillar and two lateral abutments that link it to the banks of the stream. The largest arch, on the left hand side looking upstream, is the one that saves the passage of water. The arch on the right is smaller and is located on a rocky shelf at a higher level than the level of the torrent bed. Above the central pillar, between the two arches there is an opening crowned with a small semicircular arch that acts as a discharge arch while giving slenderness and reducing the resistance of the bridge to the passage of water in case of large flows.
The oldest documentation of the bridge dates back to the year 1226.
