Nice corner, a nice spot as part of a bike tour or starting point for a hike, simply rural, quiet, peaceful... and easy to reach with public transport connections, bus line from Emmendingen to Freiamt. If you stay overnight in the Elztal, you have to pay a tourist tax of 1.90 per person, but you have a Konuscard... and therefore a regional card at your disposal, which means free travel on public transport and trains, and reduced admission in many places, such as the Black Forest Zoo. s.
