Bike Touring Highlight
The only real view that you have in the Müggelberg mountains, apart from the Müggelturm. Because the Müggelberge are forested almost everywhere, only here there is a non-forested, bare slope and therefore a beautiful view. You can see the Müggelsee very nicely (in summer you can also see the boats on the way). You can also see Friedrichshagen on the northern shore of the lake very well. With good visibility further north you can look as far as Marzahn-Hellersdorf, you can see this from the prefabricated buildings, but you can also see the Kienberg and the Ahrensfeld mountains. At this point there are also a few benches and trash cans, which is very suitable for a break. This is where the downhill route starts, if you are lucky you can see people going down. Because there is much less going here compared to the Müggelturm and also because of the great view of the Müggelsee, it is much nicer here than at the Müggelturm, would say that this place is one of the most beautiful places in the Müggelberge. However, it is not the summit, it is a little further west, but in the middle of the forest, so without a view. Should you also see with the summit cross, but you should enjoy the view at this place beforehand.
