    The memorial on the former roll call square, which was inaugurated on 2 April 2000 in the presence of former inmates, was initiated by the Wewelsburg working group "Remembrance Day 2 April". Local natural stone, such as those used by the prisoners, had to be crushed and processed. The memorial is composed of equilateral triangles, which join together to form a large triangle.

          Little is left of the camp. The fire station of the volunteer fire brigade and apartments are housed in the former camp kitchen. The gatehouse is now used as a two-family house, on the rest of the site there is a housing estate.
