Anyone who thinks that a dune landscape is monotonous will find out that that is not the case here in the protected Westduin Park! From rolling sand dunes to forests and from viewpoints to open plains: you will find it all in one of the largest nature reserves in The Hague. Who knows, you might even spot a Scottish Highlander!

Westduinpark (West Dunes Park) between Scheveningen and Kijkduin is one of The Hague's largest natural landscapes. The protected dune park at Zuiderstrand (south beach) is characterized by a varied landscape with dense forest and open areas, humid dune valleys and high dune peaks and free roaming Scottish highland cattle. Even remains of bunkers from the Second World War can be identified. With its many hiking, biking and riding trails the Westduinpark invites you to relax close to the sea.
