    The Hackpen Horse is one of the younger chalk horses carved into hillsides in the south of England and one of nine in Wiltshire alone. Likely carved in honour of Queen Victoria in the mid-1800s, the horse sits just below the Ridgeway path as it well-maintained.

    Because it's on a hillside, the horse is best seen from below (or from the air!). It's encircled by a lane and a footpath, and you can see parts of it from almost any angle.
