The Neuklostersee is one of the larger lakes in the nature reserve "Sternberger Seenlandschaft". About the Teppnitzbach he has a connection to the Warnow and thus to the Baltic Sea. Here also runs the cycle path, which leads for about 12 km to the Neuklostersee.
