Master mechanical engineer Manfred Fischer built this system himself in 2007. It should remind of the "village of mills", whereby in 1968 the last of the 5 mills had ceased operations.

Hiking
Bühren was the village of the Schede mills. The waterwheel replica from 2007 is a reminder of this. The water is directed to the waterwheel via historical channel and ditch systems like an aqueduct.
