The hollow path-like section between the hiking car park and Lantershofen is actually quite nice - obviously, at least the part near the car park is unfortunately also used extensively as an open-air toilet.

Ahrweiler is a medieval town. Surrounded by a city wall. Four gates lead out of the city. Because of Corona, the traditional marksmen's festival could not take place today, but the flags were raised.
