The Madone d'Utelle is a fantastic vantage point, which can be reached on a continuously paved road. The last 4 kilometers are a cul-de-sac from an - incomprehensibly - nameless pass that connects the Tinée Valley with the Vésubie Valley.

Both sides of this pass are already worth a highlight and until this transition, which can be seen through a tunnel, most of the work is done. But you should definitely take the 4 kilometer spur road to Madone d'Utelle under your wheels. The slope is very even and pleasant to ride and leads to a vantage point with a 360 ° panorama. Here you can see from the mouth of the Var near Nice into the Mediterranean Sea to the Alps. Breathtaking!
