Barranco del Jurado

The deep Barranco de Jurado separates Tijarafe from its district of El Jesus. The view through the canyon is really great. The coastal hiking trail GR 131 leads straight through the gorge, so the trail is very well developed. During the eruption of the volcano, some debris must have fallen down. It's probably cleared by now. At the beginning of the year, the path was definitely good to go again. If you come from Tijarafe and have made the sweaty ascent to El Jesus again, after a short walk you will find the Cerveceria Isla Verde, a small brewery restaurant that brews its own delicious beer. You can also sit and eat there. worthwhile.

Currently closed due to road works since 22/04/23, loop from Tijarafe to Candelaria Pirate Bay only possible during road opening times 18:30-9:30. Construction time of the street aqueduct about 4 years.

Impressive barranco between El Jesus and Tiraraffe. The reward is after climbing up to the brewery in El Jesus. There excellent, home-brewed beer and delicious snacks.
