The deep Barranco de Jurado separates Tijarafe from its district of El Jesus. The view through the canyon is really great. The coastal hiking trail GR 131 leads straight through the gorge, so the trail is very well developed. During the eruption of the volcano, some debris must have fallen down. It's probably cleared by now. At the beginning of the year, the path was definitely good to go again. If you come from Tijarafe and have made the sweaty ascent to El Jesus again, after a short walk you will find the Cerveceria Isla Verde, a small brewery restaurant that brews its own delicious beer.
