Holding Description:
Wilhelm Heinrich Niemeyer was born on 2 November 1836 in Oberkirchen (Rinteln district). He attended from 1864 the Gymansium in the county seat Rinteln and received there on 9 April 1868 Maturitätszeugnis. On April 30, 1868 he was enrolled at the University of Marburg as a student of theology. In 1870 he passed the Tentamen there. Afterwards, he was responsible for the job of the school rector in Großmanndorf. After passing the exam, he was ordained on March 20, 1872 and then used as Verweser the parish Barchfeld (rule Schmalkalden). There he married N. Ziegler. On November 19, 1876 Niemeyer was transferred to the parish Ronshausen in the class Rotenburg. There he worked until at least 1916.
