The Beutwangsee is located directly on the Neckartalradweg and until 1977 was a quarry. In the approximately 5 ha large lake you could swim until 1996. The low water depth, the seawater was heavily loaded and there was a bathing prohibition. Today Lake Beutwang is a popular recreational area. There are numerous lawns and some barbecue areas.
