Drumochter Summit is a mountain pass on NCN 7, the highest point on the National Cycle Network in Scotland standing at an elevation of approximately 1,509 feet (460 m) above sea level.

The summit can experience harsh winter conditions, with snow and icy roads being common, posing challenges for cyclists when passing through. Despite these challenges, the pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Grampian and Monadhliath Mountains, an iconic Highland landscape.

You've done it - the highest point on the National Cycle Network in Scotland.. Now enjoy the ride down!

Severe weather conditions can happen any time of year and there are few if any stops along the way. Make sure you have extra layers for worst case scenario especially any time between October-May!

A great achievement to get here after a very long and gradual climb. A very disappointing sign at the summit though!
