Paarup Kirke, just northwest of Odense, is a Romanesque village church from the 12th century later expanded with Gothic features like vaulted ceilings and a tower. Inside, it holds a rich mix of medieval and Baroque elements, including a 13th-century granite font, a 1656 altarpiece and a 1679 pulpit with carved evangelist figures.
