Already in the 12th century, the old Irxleber church was built in Romanesque style. It had a pitched roof with a 20-meter-high tower, on top of which a weathercock with St. Eustace was located. He is still patron saint of the church today. Because of the strong increase in population was expanded under superintendent Heinrich-Julius Raabe, the church in 1892/93 and renewed the spire. The transition from the old hull of the tower to the new spire is still clearly visible today. In the church there are colored stained glass windows.

Cycling

The stamp box is part of the elderberry discovery tour through the Börde. You can print a hiking stamp in your booklet at 19 locations. However, the boxes can only be opened with an activation code for the combination lock! You can only find out how to get the number combination directly from the stamp box! Very interesting discoveries are to be made.
