The Allegory of Fight and Victory Fountain, located on John Paul II Square, was created in 1905 from funds left over from the construction of the monument to Chancellor Bismarck. Designed by Bernard Shering and Ernest Seger, it consists of a cascading fountain and two sculptures symbolizing fight and victory – a young man fighting a lion and a young man sitting on a lion. Today, the facility is a popular place for meetings, protests and happenings.

The Bismarck Fountain (Fontanna Alegoria Walki i Zwycięstwa) was built for Otto von Bismarck's centenary. It stands on Königsplatz (Plac Jana Pawła II) and is flanked by two larger than life statues, the fight and the victory.
