The Loorenkopf is the field name of an outstanding terrain form on the eastern edge of the summit of the Adlisberg, known for the Loorenkopf observation tower built there. The place is north of Zurich's Witikon district at 694 m in the forest.
The Loorenkopf tower is a 33 meter high wooden tower, built in 1954 by the Zurich Beautification Association. The top platform can be reached via 153 steps. On Föntays you can see the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
