The summit along Forest Road 42 across the Chiricahua Mountains tops out at about 7800ft/ 2350m. In 2017 the views are pretty unobstructed, courtesy of a recent forest fire. This will certainly grow over again, but a turn onto forest road FR42D leads to even more open vistas.
