It is a real shame that this section is still gravel as a W-E connection. But it's really only 1.5 km and even after heavy rain the racer was able to drive (yes, well, you have to be a little careful and it doesn't roll - but it's over quickly). Certainly ideal for a gravel bike - certainly not recommended for someone who flinches on bumpy roads. After rain it stays moist longer (because in the forest) and in two places also earthy deeper. After heavy rain it gets rather uncomfortable as the path partly hangs to the side and the rain washes the path.

Great connection from Hanfeld to Hadorf through the forest, I drove it with gravel tires. For thin racing bike tires that might not be a hit, maybe someone can judge that?

I rumbled over it on my racing bike a few days ago. Not ideal, but easy to drive, at least on a largely dry route. And it's only a mile and a half without asphalt.
