The legend behind this chapel: The Claeys brothers found a statue of Mary in a field. They took it home and later hung it in a tree. Afterwards, the statue was moved several times, but always inexplicably returned. Three attempts were made to place it in the church. But even there the statue wouldn't stay, and it kept returning to the Kleemhoek. Then it was decided to build a chapel on that spot...

The so-called Kleemkapel dedicated to Our Lady was established in the rural district of Wulfhoek, northwest of the village centre. The associated chapels with the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary are located on four streets, the Kleemstraat, the Landstraatje, the Rysselhofstraat and the Wulfhoekstraat.
