Allgäu Mountain Farmers Museum and Höfle Alpe

A recommendation for families but also for those interested is the farm museum in Diepholz. In a successful exhibition, a lot of interesting facts about the life of the mountain farmers from the past until today. Exhibits, display boards and a video presentation convey in a pleasant way the knowledge of the Allgäu mountain farmers.
On the museum grounds there is also an original alp from 1872 which has been specially rebuilt here. Of course, the Alpe is "managed" for the retreat and with a hearty snack, it can be wonderful in the countryside and the grounds look.
