Today I did another tour in my area. From the Kreuzbergweiher I walked up into the forest and then towards the Lanzenreuter Weiher. On the way I got the idea to make a detour to the Barbarossastein. From the Lanzenreuter pond I went to the wild boar and deer park and then back home through the forest.
Unfortunately, Komoot doesn't put my photos in the correct order again

Out of the fog hole and into the sun was our moto today. In Komoot I found this beautiful tour near Isny - Neutrauchburg.
Immediately after the parking lot behind the Jägerhof, go into the forest and at the Peterhof steeply down to the lower Argen. You walk along this for a while, it goes over a bridge and soon afterwards again through the forest until you come out at the Herbisweiher. At the Herbisweiher there is a footbridge that leads to a platform.
From the Herbisweiher it goes back up through the forest on root paths. The last part is on a panoramic path with a wonderful view of Isny and the mountains back to the Jägerhof.
A nice varied tour on which we could enjoy a lot of sun today

On my lap around the lake district today, in the most glorious sunshine, I could admire the beautiful discoloration of the trees and even photograph a butterfly, which I have not yet succeeded in doing

It was a windy autumn hike today. We walked around the Ilmensee and along the Traufweg. Because of the very strong gusts of wind, however, we didn't walk all the way but back to Lake Ilmen where the weather was more pleasant again.

The alpine area around Steibis is home to a large number of ancient trees that are well worth seeing.
The Nagelfluhkette Nature Park is now an important protected area for trees that have become rare. Today's hike took us on beautiful paths to the largest of their kind in Germany.
From the Hochgradbahn parking lot, it first went downstream along the Weißach and then up the Jägersteg at the Allmersbacher Haus to the Alpe Remmelegg. From there down to the Lanzenbach and again up a root path to the Drag Alpe.
The path "on the trail of the old trees" begins here and leads to the lower Lauch Alpe.
On this path you will pass these ancient sycamores, mountain elms, silver firs and yew trees.

After a rest on the Lauch Alpe, we went back down to the Hochgratbahn car park.
I was very impressed by the ancient trees and I can recommend this hike to anyone who is interested in trees.
A brochure about it can be downloaded from the Internet.

The "Großer Trauben" round in the Pfrungener Ried is one of my favorite hikes. I love to be out and about in the Ried, especially in autumn. I usually start from the parking lot at the Ostrach Bridge and walk to the Bannwald Tower and enjoy the fantastic view from above over the whole of the Ried. The beautiful pentagonal pond can be reached via footbridges and wood carving paths. There you can see the whole pond from the viewing platform. We continue on beautiful paths and paths along pastures and meadows and past the Vogelsee until you come back to the parking lot.

in wonderful sunny weather today we went through the vineyards of Meersburg as every year in autumn. From the Töbele parking lot along the high path past the grapevines with a constant view of the lake. Then stopped by Fraulein Seegucker in the vineyard and drank a delicious little wine. A very nice place there. You can make yourself comfortable between the vines and relax with a glass of wine. Then we went down towards Hagnau and along the lake back to Meersburg.

With the Imbergbahn we went up to the mountain station today. From there we are to Alpe Glutschwanden, where we took a break and listened to an alphorn player. We then continued on a beautiful path to the Alpengasthof Hörmoos, which is idyllically located on a small mountain lake. After a rest, then continue downhill along a root path through the forest over a bridge and steeply up to Alpe Remmelegg, where there was only something to drink before continuing steeply up to the mountain station.
We liked the circular hike very much because it is very varied, but the many meters in altitude in the last third of the hike should not be underestimated. The beautiful view of the Nagelfluhkette accompanies you on the entire hike.
