Here the Vulkanexpress of the Brohltaler narrow-gauge railway steams over the viaduct and through the railway tunnel. The narrow-gauge railways have to cope with 400 vertical meters between the Rhine and the Eifel. The exit point for the Trass cave hike is Bad Tönnisstein train station. The train commutes between Brohltal on the Rhine and Engeln in the Eifel.
