The guest garden of the small hut is a real highlight, because you sit directly under mighty pines, which rise slim and vertically into the sky. The house is located above the "Eisensteinhöhle" cave system discovered in the quarry. There are simple snacks and dishes that change regularly.
Open from April to mid-November, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. All information is available at eisensteinhaus.eatbu.com/?lang=de.

📸 14.10.2017 - With the rather small, more typical shelter style menu, we preserve the possibility of variety, which also offers more frequent visitors the chance to not always find the same offer. If the desire for a visit has been awakened with us, then we would be very happy to welcome you and to host you.
The innkeepers Lucia and Alfred with co-workers 😊👍👍

Built at the end of the 60s of the last century above the cave system of the guided "Eisensteinhöhle" which was excavated more than 150 years ago, the lowest shelter of the Austrian Alpine Association, the "Haus Eisensteinhöhle", is under natural shading under the protection of the now overgrown quarry walls high pine. The stone walls protect against the northwestern weather and the pines ensure a pleasant climate in the garden on hot summer days.
