Hiking

The Hälvertal valley near Halver takes its name from the Hälver, a 9 km long tributary of the Volme River. It extends northeast of Halver's town center and is a popular local recreation area. The Upper Hälvertal valley has been the largest nature reserve in Halver since July 2024. It covers approximately 60 hectares and is characterized by a diverse flora and fauna.
