    This garden belongs to the property of the Imperial Palace. Unfortunately, you only get access to the garden, but not to the palace itself - not even a glimpse can catch you. Nevertheless, the garden is very nice to look at and a small green oasis in the middle of the metropolis.

    The extensive gardens of the East Garden, freely accessible to the public, feature a beautiful ornamental garden with beautifully trimmed trees, a pond with koi carp, the remains of the old Edo Castle, and a beautiful concert hall. The Imperial Palace, however, isn't visible from here. Those looking for stamps can find them at the entrance near the information desk. Opening hours: Daily except Friday and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or slightly longer depending on the season, max. until 6:00 p.m.
