At the northern end of the lower lakes, you'll find a fantastic view into the canyon. Framed by steep, wooded limestone walls, the Plitvica stream plunges into the depths in the distance as Veliki Slap, an approximately 78-meter-high waterfall. At Sastavci, Croatia's highest waterfall and the water from the lakes meet, forming the Korana River. This viewpoint is one of the most photographed spots in the entire national park.
