The International Criminal Court/Cour Pénale Internationale (ICC/CPI) is a permanent court for the prosecution of persons suspected of genocide, crimes against humanity or war crimes, as defined in the Rome Statute. The working languages are English and French. The International Criminal Court was founded in 2002 and has its seat in The Hague, since December 2015 in a newly built building on the Oude Waalsdorperweg, after a number of years had been used for temporary accommodation on the Binckhorst business park.
