"The wildly romantic rock path high above Bad Ems along the rocks of the Bäderlei with ever new, magnificent views of the river landscape was already part of the standard tourist program for spa guests in the 19th century. On the way are the fascinating Heinzelmann caves. They are karst tubes, a strange one The whim of nature, around which countless legends are entwined. They were created by lime leaching. As early as the 18th century, they fascinated the natural scientist Senckenberg and Goethe's friend Lavater."
