This park was created on the former site of the Wilken tree nursery, which existed here from 1952 to 2022.
With larger technical At great expense, all areas were renatured and topsoil filled in in 2018. Stationary irrigation was installed and the site was surrounded by privacy screens.
Everything was planted in 2020 according to plans by Ms. Beening and Ms. Kuper on behalf of Reiner Wilken.
Only all the trees and shrubs have been cultivated in the company's own tree nursery in previous years, some for 25 years. 212 different special trees and shrubs are shown, as well as more than 2000 perennials as accompaniment.
Many of the trees cannot be found in other nurseries because they are not interesting enough for the trade, only enthusiasts appreciate them.
After the lawns were seeded, the park was opened in early summer 2021 and can be accessed free of charge all year round.
However, donations for further care are welcome.
The construction of paths was deliberately avoided so that all trees and shrubs get their "right". The botanical and German labeling allows everyone to follow this tree at home.
Guided tours are possible at any time by prior arrangement.

The park of rarities: small, lovingly furnished park with beautiful beds and many rare trees. There are also benches to relax. Very beautiful and interesting.

A very beautiful, small park that only opened in spring 2021: old, rare trees and perennials, there is a pond, there is a pavilion with table and chairs, lots of seating. The park is worth a rest.
